On the morning of January 13, 2017, a summary meeting on the special project of the 973 Program of Chinese Traditional Medicine Theory, "Research on Diseases Syndrome Based Qi and Blood Relevant Theories", was held ceremoniously in Beijing. The meeting was initiated by Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences and attended by 7 units including the Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital, Anzhen Hospital of Capital Medical University, the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan College of TCM and Guangdong Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Chief Researcher of the project Liu Jianxun, leaders of the project teams and key researchers, totaling 60 persons, attended the meeting. Fu Jianhua, Director of Scientific Research Department of Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medicine Sciences presided over the meeting.

　　The attendees first listened to the work report for 2017 of each task group, reviewed the work plan of 2018, and rewarded the dissertation and patent obtained by the research group according to the project management regulations. At the same time, the project team invited Wang Ming, expert of the budget review and acceptance of science and technology projects from Ministry of Science and Technology and senior accountant of Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine, to train the attendees of related content.

　　At the summary meeting, Professor Li Zhenji from Management Office of the 973 Project of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine fully affirmed the work of each research group in 2017 and encouraged scientific researchers to continue working hard to accomplish the tasks of the subject actively in 2018 and strive to achieve more results for the development of the TCM theory.
