On June 11th, the “7th National TCM Clinical Pharmacy Development Forum” of memorial activity of the 60th anniversary of Xuanwu Hospital of Capital Medical University was held with the National TCM Continuing Education Project “TCM Clinical Pharmacist Training and Discipline Research Progress Class” as the opportunity. Nearly 300 people including the head of the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tu Zhitao, the master of the TCM, Jin Shiyuan, the relevant person in charge of the Pharmacy Department of the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Zhao Guoguang, the president of the Xuanwu Hospital of the Capital Medical University and other trainees.

　　Tu Zhitao said that Xuanwu Hospital has made efforts and contributions to promote the development of clinical TCM pharmacy. He encouraged everyone to seize the opportunity and bravely advance in the situation of the development of TCM, cultivate more outstanding clinical talents of TCM, inherit the spirit of TCM, and jointly promote the development of TCM.

　　The relevant person in charge of the Pharmacy Department of Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine affirmed the TCM prescription review and the Chinese medicinal drug consultation center of Xuanwu Hospital under the new medical reform situation and proposed that the pharmacist is vital in the treatment team. Academic exchange activities can continuously improve the working mode of clinical pharmacists and train more professionals who are suitable for pharmaceutical development.

　　Zhao Jing, president of the Beijing TCM Association, proposed that in order to strengthen the popularization of the TCM law, we should closely follow academic hotspots, optimize the academic environment, and promote multi-level and multidisciplinary academic exchanges among the TCM practitioners in the capital.
