The deployment meeting on teaching and ward round contest by resident doctors in Beijing TCM standardized training base 2018 was successfully convened in 610 meeting room of Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine at the morning July 5th, 2018. The the competent departmental heads from eight state TCM resident doctors’standardized training bases in Beijing attended the meeting.

　　During the deployment meeting, the science and education department director of Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine pointed out the deficiencies as follows: weak awareness of teaching when standardizedly training the TCM resident doctors, and their teaching level was to be further bettered. It was required that each base to lay due stress on the contest on the teaching and ward round campaign, and strongerly train the resident doctors in the base with higher training quality. The related personages expounded on the circular on the contest on the teaching and ward round, and earnestly answered the questions put forward by the attendants.

　　The contest followed the procedure of self-evaluation at the base level and rating at the city level, aiming to solving the following problems existed in the training for TCM resident doctors’s standardized training: abnormalized operation in the teaching and ward round, undue emphasis of TCM thought, undue apparency of enlightenment, and insufficient involvement of the trainees etc, further raising the teaching awareness and level when standardizedly training the TCM resident doctors, and enhancing the training quality in this respect as well. The top 2 teams would be recommended to Chinese Medical Doctor Association who would in turn attend the nationwide contest on teaching and ward round by resident doctors in TCM Standardized Training Bases in China.
