On December 18, Beijing held the special conference to convey, learn and implement the spirit of the National Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Ma Yonghuai, secretary of the Party Committee, Wu Yeqing, deputy director, Xu Xin, deputy director and all the middle-level cadres of the hospital attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by the deputy director, Wu Yeqing.

　　Wu Yeqing conveyed the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of Chinese medicine, the comments of Premier Li Keqiang and the spirit of the speech of Vice Premier Sun Chunlan at the National Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and the spirit of the video conference and the teleconference of the relevant authorities such as Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

　　Liu Xiuru, head of the Medical Department, interpreted the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Promoting the Heritage and Innovative Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and analyzed in details the major opportunities brought by the National Conference of Chinese Medicine for talent training, scientific research, and social services in the Chinese medicine industry. It analyzed the new challenges that might emerge in the development of the hospital. Liu Xiuru encouraged everyone to learn and internalize the spirit, and take the spirit into action. She also encouraged everyone to accurately grasp the overall idea of the development of the Chinese medicine industry, find the new breakthrough point for the development, and promote the rapid development of various hospitals.

　　Ma Yonghuai, secretary of the Party Committee, put forward specific requirements for each department to implement the spirit of the conference. The first is to continuously and thoroughly study and implement the spirit of the National Congress on Traditional Chinese Medicine. He stated that everyone needed to grasp tightly the great opportunities for developing traditional Chinese medicine with all the necessary and favourable conditions provided, learn and understand the spirit of the Conference, and understand the time value, cultural value, scientific value and practical value of traditioal Chinese medicine in depth. All departments should comb the advantages and characteristics of the hospital according to the actual situation, accurately grasp the development path, and be courageous to shoulder the historical mission, and all departments should study how to advance the work with the spirit of the Congress as the guide in accordance with the actual situation. The second is to inherit and innovate the development. All departments should also firmly grasp the key points such as "inherite the essence, keep innovating", "traditional Chinese medicine modernization and industrialization", and "healthy China". All departments should also combine the spirit of the Congress and the content of the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting the Heritage and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the actual condition to form the concrete measures and moves in the work and list them in the work account. He said that the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping have guided the development of traditional Chinese medicine. Everyone must continuously study and implement the spirit of the Congress to build the consensus, inspire the spirit, strengthen the confidence, and boost the fighting spirit, and put the spirit of the National Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine into the practical work of personnel training, scientific research, social services, and cultural heritage and innovation to contribute the wisdom, scheme and power of traditional Chinese and western medicine to the healthy China.

　　Since the National Convention of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held, Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Traditional and Western Medicine held the brain storming forum of Learning and Implementing the Spirit of the National Convention of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the important instructions of General Secretary Xi Jinping on the work of traditional Chinese medicine and the siprit in the National Conference of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Then a wave of learning and implementation was quickly set off.  The hospital has firmly grasped the key points of "inherite the essence, keep innovating", "traditional Chinese medicine modernization and industrialization", and "healthy China". And it has combine the spirit of the conference and the content of the Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the State Council on Promoting the Heritage and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine with the actual condition to make its due contribution in the process of building a community of shared destiny for human society, and to promote traditional Chinese medicine to the future, the world and the people, and the highlands.
