The Integration of Exhibition with Business Negotiation Brings Fruitful Results

    The 3rd Beijing International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) put particular emphasis on the seamless integration of exhibition with business negotiation. Besides positively matching the trades, the fair also focused on the projects promotion and communication before the exhibition, greatly improving the success rate of transactions during the exhibition. In this period, 18 contacts have been signed, with 93 cooperative purposes have been achieved, including: the exchange and cooperation for Mongolia medical treatment and technology, the cooperation to train talents and to explore the USA market by Beijing Tong Ren Tang and California University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the proposed European traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) developing Center in Barcelona, the cooperation fund between Beijing Henghe TC-Western Combination Medicine Hospital and London Royal Free Hospital. These cooperations covered the fields of TCM service, talents training, TCM hospitals and pharmacies to be built in foreign countries, medical tour, remote treatment and construction of medical and health database. The involved nations and regions included USA, UK, Spain, New Zealand, Mongolia and Hong Kong, China.

    The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine published Shortlist of Key Pilot Enterprises for TCM Service and Trade. In this shortlist, 19 institutions were included: Guanganmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences (CACMS), Guangdong TCM Hospital, Sanya TCM Hospital, Inner Mongolia International Mongolia Hospital, Heilongjiang Wudalianchi Workers’ Nursing Home, Dalian Shengu TCM Hospital, Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Tianjin University of Chinese Medicine, Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine, Guangxi University of Chinese Medicine, Shanghai University of Chinese Medicine, Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine, Shanghai TCM International Service and Trade Promoting Centre, Henan Nanyang Zhangzhongjing International Nurses Training Centre, Beijing Tong Ren Tang Group Co., Ltd., Hutchison Whampoa Guangzhou Baiyunshan Chinese Medicine Co., Ltd. and Guangdong Artepharm Co., Ltd. Meanwhile, Beijing, Shanghai, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Nanjing and Nanyang were included in the Shortlist of Key Pilot Regions for TCM Service and Trade.

    Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, with Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism Development, proposed the Initiative for Accelerating the Exploration and Promotion of Beijing’s TCM Tour Products of TCM Health Preservation Culture.
