Xuanwu Traditional Chinese Hospital its annual academic meeting was held in the Multi-function Hall on August 3rd. There were near 100 attendees including hospital leaders and medical personnel.
In the meeting, firstly it awarded two old TCM experts Qin Xuexian and Deng Guicheng who won the Capital TCM Famous Doctor this year. After live broadcasting videos of academic achievement of the two Capital TCM famous doctors, Hospital President Zheng Yi and Party Secretary Li Xiaofei congratulated them with two bouquets of flowers. Qin and Deng made speeches, and they mentioned that they will pass on the traditional Chinese medicine culture since it is the mission of their generation and the younger generation who work in traditional Chinese medicine field. Secretary Li Xiaofei said in his speech: we should fully carry forward the traditional Chinese medicine academic thought of old famous TCM doctors, to promote the development of our hospital medicine career. He also asked the younger generation to learn the excellent quality of the two old doctors, since learning to be a good person is the first step to inherit traditional Chinese medicine.
Science and Education Section summarized the science and education work in 2016 and reported on the 2017 work plan in the meeting. Hospital leaders announced winners of annual paper evaluation of Xuanwu Traditional Chinese medicine hospital and were awarded the winners with certificates. Finally, the winners made academic exchange speeches. The annual academic meeting collected 145 academic papers, of which 37 TCM skills papers, 26 pharmaceutical papers and 82 nursing papers.
The Annual Academic Meeting showed hospital’s work achievements in medical research and also the bright scene of hospital heritage and development. In the coming year, hospital will also make great efforts to enhance the level of discipline construction, to boost the development of the hospital with the power of science.
