On the eve of the National Day, Beijing Rectum Hospital (Beijing Er Long Lu Hospital), Beijing Institute of Anorectal Diseases, and District Center for Disease Control jointly organized the series activities of health science popularization for military camp with the theme of "Open the Door to the Prevention and Treatment of Anorectal Disease". The team of the experts went to Beijing Aerospace Control Center, the 16th squadron the 1st Detachment of Armed Police Beijing Corps, and the Communications Camp of Xicheng District Resident Troops one after another, bringing the health knowledge to the military officers and soldiers, and were warmly welcomed.

　　This series of activities is part of the science population activities entitled with "Science Popularization of Beijing, Health Promotion at Xicheng District". Beijing Rectum Hospital and Beijing Institute of Anorectal Diseases dispatched some well-known experts to support this event, who not only provided the popular science knowledge on anorectal disease prevention and treatment, but also presented some kinds of popular science materials such as "Talk About Anorectal Disease," "Quiz on Anorectal Disease Prevention & Treatment Knowledge ","Common Knowledge of Anorectal Disease Prevention & Treatment" prepared and published by our hospital and other popular science books and promotional leaflets, and simple hand-held enemators for the household purpose. After the lecture, the experts interacted with the officers and soldiers and demonstrated the method of using the hand-held enemators. The related experts from the District Center of Disease Control gave the lectures to the officers and soldiers on the restricted intake of editable oil and salt, prevention and treatment of heat stroke, and others, and made the interactions with them. In addition, the corner of experiencing the restricted intake of editable oil and salt was also set up at the site. The wonderful explanations, vivid presentations and sincere exchanges won the thunderous applauses from both the officers and the soldiers at the site. Science popularization is one of the most important steps in disease prevention and health promotion. In the future, Beijing Rectum Hospital (Beijing Er Long Lu Hospital) and Beijing Institute of Anorectal Diseases will join hands with the District Center for Disease Control and other related units to continuously distribute health knowledge to the various institutions, the residence communities, the army and each person in need, and to actively contribute to improving the health scientific quality of the masses.
