On September 9, the nationwide large-scale free medical consultation activity week of "People-Serving Health Action" was launched. According to the unified plan of Beijing Health and Family Planning Commission, Xuanwu Hospital of TCM held the large-scale free medical consultation activity at Wanming Road of Xicheng District on the first day of the large-scale free medical consultation activity week.

　　At 8:30 a.m., the related medical personnel arrived there on time. The hospital dispatched more than doctors and experts from such departments as internal medicine, surgery, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics and traumatology, peripheral vascular diseases and community centers, to provide free medical consultation service for the masses. For only one morning, they received more than 100 people coming for the medical consultation.

　　Xuanwu Hospital of TCM would hold in-hospital free medical consultations during the week-long large-scale free medical consultation activity, and also carry out various forms of the activities such as medical experts going to residence communities for offering medical services, counterpart support and health lectures.

　　Since 2013, the National Health and Family Planning Commission of PRC and the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine have decided to launch the large-scale free medical consultation activity week across the country and Xuanwu Hospital of TCM has participated it for the five consecutive years. Every year, the hospital makes great efforts to actively promote this activity by organizing its strong professional and technical forces and has played a significant role in better serve the masses and improve their health.
