On March 17^th, Dongzhimen Hospital Eastern Area of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine sponsored the 1^st Lung Disease Forum cum Professor Wu Weiping Academic Experience Workshop in Beijing.

　　The lectures were delivered by the following personages: Capital TCM Master & Professor Wu Weiping, Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Professor Zhang Lishan, People's Hospital of Peking University Professor Feng Cuiling, Dongzhimen Hospital Eastern Area of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Professor Ban Chengjun, Dongzhimen Hospital Eastern Area of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Professor Chuan Yun, No.3 Affiliated Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine Professor Cui Hongsheng, Guanganmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Science Professor Bian Yongjun. There were 300-plus medical workers from Beijing Eastern Area Medical Alliance members attending the academic forum.

　　The academic conference was kicked off by the Beijing TCM Master & Professor Wu Weiping of Dongzhimen Hospital with the title of TCM Solution to Bronchial Asthma. What followed were six experts respectively delivered dedicated lectures for diagnozing and treating pulmonary system disease with the following titles: Academic Experience of Professor Wu Weiping on Treating Pulmonary Interstitial Fibrosis, Professor Wu Weiping’s Differentiated Treatment Experience on Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease According to Disease and Symptoms, Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Overview on Treating Chronic Cough, Application of Black Plum Pill in Pulmonary System Disease, Regulate Liver and Lung to Treat Deficient Dyspnea, and Application of Ease Powder in  Pulmonary System Disease.

　　Thanks to the academic exchange, the TCM diagnosis and treatment level of the grassroots’ physicians were enhanced, and the application of TCM in the field of respiratory diseases reinforced. The capital TCM master’s driving effect were fully played, such that it was of significant guiding and enlightening importance for mass grassroots’ physicians to widen the thought in diagnosing the lung disease and improving the diagnosis thinking.
