On May 19th, 2018, the launch event for Datong Hospital of TCM Sub-workstation of Beijing TCM Inheritance 3+3 Program Guo Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation was held in Datong Hospital of TCM.
The launch event was attended by the following personages: Datong Health and Family Planning Commission Party Leadership Group Secretary and Director Liu Guoqing, Datong Health and Family Planning Commission Party Leadership Group Member and Deputy Director Wang Rong, Shanxi Association of Chinese Medicine Standing Vice-chairman and Secretary Wen Yuan, Datong Hospital of TCM Presdient Jiang Shirui, Medical Administration Department Director Zhang Xiaoqiang of Datong Health and Family Planning Commission, TCM Department Director Liu Rong of Health and Family Planning Commission, Administration Office Deputy Director Shen Wenhong of Datong Health and Family Planning Commission, Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation Head and Professor Wang Biqin, Workstation Expert and Professor Li Jun and other experts on behalf of Professor Guo Zhiqiang.
During the launch event, Director Liu Guoqing, on behalf of Datong Health and Family Planning Commission, expressed warm congratulation on the creation of Datong Hospital of TCM Sub-workstation under Guo Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation, wished Datong Hospital of TCM to insist on the correct development strategy, firmly follow the development objectives, and work hard to do its due part for the growth of TCM cause throughout the city.
Shanxi Association of Chinese Medicine Standing Vice-chairman and Secretary Wen Yuan encouraged the Datong Hospital of TCM to vigorously grow the TCM cause, cherish the chance to learn TCM via the participation in the Guo Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation, and offer valuable advise for the growth of Datong Hospital of TCM.
The Hospital President Jiang Shirui, on behalf of the hospital, expressed his warm welcom to the presence of the leaders and distinguished guests, introduced the preparation of the Datong Hospital of TCM Sub-workstation under Guo Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation, and made the following solumn promise: rigidly carry out the action plan and construction standard for the Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation, build the platform for academic exchange and talents’ training, inherit and carry forward Guo Zhiqiang’s medical experience and academic system, and further expand the traditional culture of TCM.
Professor Wang Biqin, on behalf of Professor Guo Zhiqiang, delivered a speech and read out the letter of congretulation from Professor Guo Zhiqiang, conveyed the appreciation of Professor Guo Zhiqiang on the great supports from the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Shanxi Province Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Datong Health and Family Planning Commission as well as his concern and expectation, and wished to work together to benefit the mass.
Inauguration Ceremony for Datong Hospital of TCM Sub-workstation under Guo Zhiqiang Dingtinguished Veteran Doctor of TCM Workstation was undertaken by the Professor Wang Biqin, and the Hospital President Jiang Shirui, on behalf of the hospital, acknowledged the same.
There were following four physicians with the Infertility Clinic of Datong Hospital of TCM acknowledged Professor Guo Zhiqiang, Wang Biqin and Li Jun as their masters: Huo Xiaobo, Liu Weina, Sun Lijun and Ma Lili. After reading out the mentorship letter, they served tea for their masters and kowtowed for three times. The two masters came back the apprentices with books and apprenticeship letter.
After the launch event, the medical staff with Datong Hospital of TCM attended the special academic lecture titling Ovulation Failure Type Infertility Treatment via TCM Sequential Therapy and Pelvic Inflammatory Disease Treatment via TCM delivered by Professor Wang Biqin and Li Jun respectively in the Hospital conference room. The attendants harvested a lot, and wished to learn more.
The creation of the sub-workstation catered to the principle of the Inheritance 3+3 Program. It was convinced that we were able to forge a team inheriting Professor Guo Zhiqiang academic thought and clinical experience via the exchange and learning, accelerate the upgrading of the TCM diagnosis and treatment level, such that the mass could enjoy higher-level TCM service.
