TCM Service Theme Day and Signing Ceremony of Overseas Chinese TCM Conference.
From May 29th to June 1st, the 5th China (Beijing) International Fair for Trade in Services was held at the National Convention Center.
As the only section of the International Fair that set an industry theme day, a total of 66 TCM institutions participated in the exhibition. The exhibition featured the development achievements of TCM service trade in recent years, reflecting the multi-disciplinary and transnational integration of TCM in technology, agriculture, tourism, internet, etc. There was a series of activities, such as the TCM Service Theme Day and Overseas Chinese TCM Conference, International Think Tank Forum of TCM Development, Silk Road Ambassadors Talking about TCM, International Health Tourism Summit Forum of TCM and “the Belt and Road” Conference on Pharmaceutical Development Exchange and Cooperation and the Second International Conference on Non-Pharmacology Therapy, the European Conference on TCM Development and Promotion Center Project, and the Experience of TCM Service, which expanded the influence of TCM services trade in many ways and at various angles and promote the TCM service trade.

At the Beijing International Fair, the TCM sector promoted the establishment of TCM International Exchange Center of the National Administration of TCM and the Iranian Scientific Acupuncture Association. Nine projects was signed at site, including projects of Beijing Administration of TCM with the Moscow Municipal Health Bureau of Russia and the Russian Russia-China Strategic Cooperation Association, Guanganmen Hospital of the Chinese Academy of TCM with the Midtown Medical Research Institute in Tokyo, and the ladies of envoys in China with the Family Doctor Service of the TCM Clinic of the Beijing National Medical Association. The total value of the projects was approximately US$81 million.
Foreign guests such as Barbados Ambassador and his wife experienced TCM services on the spot.
Since the first Beijing International Fair, the TCM sector has become a feature and highlight of every fair and has received great attention from national leaders. As one of the most popular exhibition with most exhibitors, it has been loved by foreign guests and has won the “Best Professional Exhibition Area” selected by the organizing committee.
