The trainees were active in discussion on the following topics: classics reading, clinical practice and famous masters’ apprentices. Everybody reached the following consensus: to closely connect the classic reading with the clinical practice, and direct the clinic with the classics, and further comprehend the classics via the clinical practice. We would launch themed salons in various forms in future. Follow the suit of TCM masters, raise the professionalism, build more chinese culture self-confidence and TCM self-confident, and work at the inheritance and innovation of TCM classical theories.
The salon attracted the excellent trainees from other provinces and cities, such as Wang Hui from Chongqing Beibei District of TCM, Zheng Wenlong with Hangzhou Municipal Hospital of TCM, Li Huanan with Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Li Fang with Guangdong Province Hospital of TCM and Zhou Jingdong with Shanghai Municipal Hospital of TCM, who were active in talking. Wang Hui also composed a poem impromptu as follows: Beijing Peers are exemplars in learning from Huangdi and Qibo, the salon is so open-up and inclusive that we are progressing together for stronger TCM. The poem spoke highly of the academic salon of the Beijing team as it played demostrative role in the excellent talents campaign nationwide.

The State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine sponsored the 4th batch nationwide TCM (clinical and basic) excellent talents workshop cum phase II classical TCM theory in Nanjing, when students from Beijing earnestly listened to the wonderful speeches from the masters and the academic reports from the Huangdi and Qibo New Voice Forum.
In the spare time after a whole-day learning, the 3rd academic salon themed TCM theory learning and clinical application was convened. The salon was co-chaired by dermatology department botanic phisican Zhang Cang with Beijing Chinese Medicine Hospital and pneumology department botanic phisican Feng Cuiling with Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine. neurology department botanic phisican Cao Kegang with Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, as the monitor, firstly made summery on the work for the first half , and reported about the future training, study tour and campaigns.
