Recently, in order to implement the spirit of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, strengthen the construction of grassroots medical and health talents, improve the primary health care services, and promote healthy poverty alleviation, the Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine went to Zizhou County, Yulin City, Shaanxi Province to conduct training for rural doctors organized by the China Population Welfare Foundation.

　　Sun Jing and Li Fenglin gave special trainings to more than 160 medical staff of Zizhou County Community Health Service Center entitled "Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment Strategies for Cerebral Infarction in Primary Hospitals" and "Acupuncture Treatment for Cervical and Lumbar Pain".

　　During the course of teaching, Sun Jing combined with her years of clinical experience, enumerated a number of typical cases, and answered questions on the spot in an interactive manner. In order to enable the students to understand the content of the lecture more intuitively, Li Fenglin conducted demonstration teaching of acupuncture and moxibustion technology on the spot. The trainees said that the training content of the doctors from Eastern hospital is close to the grassroots reality, and they have gained a lot of knowledge. They also said that they should apply what they have learned and serve the people in their jurisdiction.

　　Li Fenglin, acupuncture and moxibustion doctor, also drove with members of the expert group to Huainingwan Village, Huainingwan Town, Zizhou County, 20 kilometers away from the resident, to conduct consultations for the villagers. In response to the physical health of different people, Dr. Li gave them personalized health guidance and applied acupuncture and massage techniques to alleviate the suffering of nearly 100 people.
