On July 31, in order to celebrate the Army Day and further strengthen the relationship between the military and the civilians, the "Xinglin of Hepingli Hospital" volunteer service team of Beijing Hepingli Hospital, and its co-construction unit Beijing Hangxing Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. visited 321 Space Base in Laishui, Hebei to carry out the "August 1st" activity on free clinic. Liu Dong, secretary of the Party Committee of Beijing Hepingli Hospital and president Wang Jianhui led 16 medical volunteers to participate in the activity. Jia Hongmei, secretary of the Dongcheng District Health and Planning Commission, was invited as well.

　　Before the clinic, a brief ceremony was held at the military station. On behalf of the health and family planning system of Dongcheng District and party branch of Beijing Hepingli Hospital, Jia Hongmei expressed her greeting to all the officers and soldiers of the Beijing Hangxing Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The team gave away commonly used drugs in the summer, mosquito repellent bags, cool and refreshing tea and other gifts to the officers and soldiers.

　　In the officers and soldiers’ barracks, medical volunteers from orthopedics, cardiology, Chinese medicine, urology, and dermatology departments conducted consultations, blood pressure and glucose measurements, and explained the prevention and treatment knowledge of common diseases to them in detail, sending them the best gift of the "August 1st" festival. The activity has enhanced the communication between the officers and soldiers and the medical staff, and created a strong atmosphere of co-construction. The hospital will continue to use the medical advantages to carry out the "Going into Camps and Sending Health" free clinic to protect the health of the people's soldiers.
