Recently, professor He Dengfeng, an expert in TCM diagnosis and treatment from Beijing, together with medical experts in Datong City, Xinzhou City and Linfen City of Shanxi Province carried out voluntary medical treatment and poverty alleviation activities for the masses in the old revolutionary base areas, and carried out the knowledge popularization courses of chronic diseases, disease diagnosis, and small needle knife treatment of TCM and so on.

During the four-day free clinic trip, he conducted free clinic and small needle knife treatment for more than 500 people in Xishuiyu Village of Datong City, Jingle County of Xinzhou, Dingxiang County and Linfen City. During the clinic, professor He Dengfeng, a military doctor, taught the grassroots doctors in Datong, Linfen and other places the skills of TCM diagnosis and treatment and small needle knife treatment, so as to improve the diagnosis and treatment level of the doctors in the old revolutionary areas of Shanxi.
