– Yan Jun Deputy President of Dongzhimen Hospital Led the Team to the International Department for the Pre-holiday Safety Inspection
In order to ensure the normal provision of medical services during the Spring Festival, and resolutely prevent and contain security accidents, on the afternoon of January 29, Yan Jun Deputy President of Dongzhimen Hospital under Beijing University of Chinese Medicine led the team to conduct a safety inspection of the International Department of the hospital. The team members included Yu Guoyong, Head of the Social Work Department and International Department, Zhao Changgui, Head of the Security Department, and Li Guohong, Head of the Assets Management Department.
The inspection team conducted a comprehensive and detailed on-site inspection of the central control room and key areas such as fire protection facilities, basement, pharmacies, outpatient areas, health management centers, and massage centers. The inspection team carefully reviewed every place, and made serious inspections of fire prevention, water supply and power supply, special equipment and medical safety. The team also emphasized relevant safety knowledge, clarified the responsibilities of key personnel and key posts. In addition, the team also checked potential safety hazards in a timely manner, and developed the corrective measures for identified problems on the spot so as to eliminate hidden dangers in time, prevent accidents, and ensure the safe operation of the hospital.
During the inspection, Yan Jun gave his condolences to Professor Lv Renhe, Professor Xiao Chengwei and Professor Wu Weiping (they are also TCM masters), expressed the blessings of the New Year in advance, and extended thanks to the experts for their selfless devotion.
The discussions at the meeting room on the fifth floor were made on the medical safety, fire safety, equipment safety, food hygiene and safety work and so on. Yan Jun stressed that safety is the prerequisite for development. The hope is that all the departments of the hospital should further enhance their sense of bearing safety responsibility and preventing accidents before they occur to remove various safety hazards and to ensure the safety of patients, medical services, employees and the hospital. Furthermore, Yan Jun pointed out that the International Department, as an external image and even an international display window of the hospital, should continue to improve the service level and service capability of medical personnel in the new year, build a distinctive brand service model with patients as the center, establish a harmonious doctor-patient relationship and boost the development of medical and health undertakings.
