In the afternoon of March 6, 2019, the Scientific Research, Teaching and Talents Conference of Beijing Hepingli Hospital in 2019 was held in the multi-function hall of the hospital. Luo Zenggang, deputy director of Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Administration, attended the meeting, and Liu Dong, Secretary of the Party Committee of the hospital, presided over the meeting.

　　At the meeting, President Wang Jianhui made a report on scientific research, teaching and personnel training of the hospital in 2018 under the theme of "Practicing the Strategy of Strengthening the Hospital with Talented Personnel through Science and Education and Promoting the Healthy and Sustainable Development of the Hospital". From the aspects of strengthening the hospital with talents, improving the personnel training system, implementing the revitalization of the hospital with science and education, enhancing the driving force of technological innovation, insisting on the establishment of characteristic hospitals and building the core competitiveness of the hospital, making clear the constraints, promoting sustainable development, this report summarized the work of scientific research, teaching and talent team construction in 2018, and put forward the working ideas for 2019.

　　On behalf of the Beijing Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Deputy Director Luo Zenggang congratulated Hepingli Hospital on its brilliant achievements in scientific research, teaching, personnel training and medical work in 2018, and fully affirmed its functional orientation, development strategy and development achievements. Firstly, Hepingli Hospital conforms to the development model of both Chinese and Western medicine, the development of modern medicine and the needs of patients, and has accurate function orientation. Secondly, under the situation of medical reform, it strengthens the fine management and practices the development strategy of "establishing the hospital with characteristics, strengthening the hospital with talents, rejuvenating the hospital with science and education, shaping the hospital with cultural connotation". Thirdly, the construction of key specialties and special specialties is the core competitiveness of hospital. With the help of the collaboration of comprehensive medicine consortium and specialties, hospitals can effectively share human resources and promote the construction of clinical departments. Fourthly, Hepingli Hospital has entered the ranks of Class A of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, and its development has entered the fast lane. We should adhere to the integrated development model of medical, teaching and research. Director Luo sincerely hoped that the hospital would make more breakthroughs in the establishment of integrated Chinese and Western medicine diagnosis and treatment model, and make greater achievements in hospital development, and become a national model of integrated Chinese and Western medicine hospitals.
