In order to provide medical emergency support for the International Horticultural Exposition in 2019, the medical department and education department of Yanqing Hospital of Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital jointly organized pre-hospital first aid training for serving the International Horticultural Exposition.
Expert Wang Xiaogang of 120 Beijing First Aid Center, Director Song Maifen of Beijing Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Director Yan Shunxin of Emergency Department, Director Jin He of Orthopedics and Traumatology Department, Director Zhang Haijun of Respiratory Department, Director Xu Yizhong of Anesthesiology Department, were invited to give lectures. Cardiopulmonary resuscitation; on-site treatment of common and critical diseases in internal medicine; traumatic hemostasis, dressing, fixation and transportation; experience sharing of medical security in large-scale activities; on-site demonstration of mass injuries; emergency rescue of sudden mass casualties, clinical diagnosis and treatment of acute poisoning, and treatment of shock were explained in details. In addition to theoretical explanation, the training focused more on practical operation. Teachers simulated the actual situation to set test questions, and medical care cooperated with the on-site operation drill. The medical department also conducted CPR exams for all medical staff.
The training not only consolidated the first aid theory knowledge, but also strengthened the medical and nursing cooperation ability and the on-site first aid ability, further improved the first aid level of all medical personnel, strengthened the overall emergency response ability, and laid a solid foundation for the service and guarantee of the International Horticultural Exhibition.
