Changping District Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital successfully Held the 2018 Annual Meeting and Academic Exchange of Changping District Medical Records Quality Control Center
In order to summarize the work of Changping District Medical Records Quality Control and Improvement Center in 2018 and make a good work plan for 2019, the Changping District Medical Records Quality Control and Improvement Center held its 2018 Annual Meeting and Academic Exchange on March 15, 2019 in Changping District Integrated Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine.
Director Zhang Qiuhong gave a briefing on the evaluation and summary of the quality of excellent medical records from five aspects: general situation, evaluation results, common highlights, shortcomings, suggestions and requirements. Director Zhang emphasized that in 2018, Changping District Medical Records Quality Control Center completed the construction of the quality control system of the medical records specialty in the region; regularly informed the medical institutions in the region of assessment plans, quality control indicators and assessment results, and guided the work; and made certain achievements in promoting personnel training, improving the quality control of medical records as the core, strengthening continuing education and training, and strengthening institutional exchanges and cooperation. In 2019, the center will further improve and implement the formulation of quality control standards and plans, and take practical measures to gradually improve and solve the problems of relatively backward infrastructure construction, relatively backward development level of medical record management informatization and unreasonable personnel echelon construction in individual medical institutions.
Subsequently, Director Yuan Rui of the Medical Department of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital and Director Cui Haosheng of the Medical Records Department of Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital gave special lectures on the impact of DRGs collection and payment data simulation operation on the medical record management process and its countermeasures, paper medical record scanning and photocopying process optimization, and fully exchanged with the participants in the meeting in the light of their actual work of medical record management. It lays a foundation for the improvement of the medical record management level in the whole region and broadens the thinking.
The quality of medical record management is related to medical quality and safety, and there is a long way to go. Changping District Medical Records Quality Control Center will continue to work with all kinds of medical institutions at all levels in accordance with the relevant requirements of the higher departments to continuously improve the quality management of medical records in our district and work together for the sustainable development of medical records management.
