Li Xiaoming, head nurse of CCU of Dongzhimen Hospital in Dongcheng District, and Cui Lishuang, surgical nurse in Tongzhou District, won the third prize in the Third National Wound Nursing Case Competition

　　On March 22, 2019, the 3rd National Wound Nursing Case Competition was successfully concluded in the General Hospital of Civil Aviation. Hundreds of nurses from all over the country participated in the competition.

　　In the final contest, Li Xiaoming, head nurse of CCU in Dongcheng District of Dongzhimen Hospital, with "A Case of Wound Care Sharing for Patients with Lower Limb Venous Ulcer" and Cui Lishuang, a surgical nurse in Tongzhou District, with "A case of Wound Care for Patients with Incision Dehiscence and Full-thickness Skin and Mucosa Separation after Parastomal Hernia Repair", won the third prize in the contest.

　　The National Wound Nursing Case Competition, adhering to the purpose of "Precise Technology and Fine Care", is dedicated to exploring the latest progress in wound treatment, promoting the advancement of new wound care technologies, reflecting the work value of specialist nurses and providing patients with scientific, safe, high-quality and satisfactory professional nursing services. It is a professional competition with great influence throughout the country.

　　The competition was sponsored by China Medical and Health Promotion Association and 278 cases were collected from all over the country. After screening by experts, only 10 cases were qualified for the national final through preliminary examination. In the finals, there was a splendid scene full of brilliant people.

　　After more than three hours of intense competition, Li Xiaoming, head nurse of CCU in Dongcheng District and Cui Lishuang, surgical nurse in Tongzhou District, won unanimous praise from experts on the spot and won the third prize for their solid teaching skills, rigorous case data and advanced concept of wound care.

　　In recent years, the hospital attaches great importance to the development of wound, stoma and incontinence nursing specialty. It has established a skin management team, invited many well-known wound stoma specialists from all over the country to give instruction, and selected nursing backbone to go out for professional training, which provides professional nursing services for chronic and refractory wounds such as pressure ulcers, diabetic foot, enterostomy, fecal incontinence and scald.
