On the afternoon of April 11, Zhao Hongwu, Director of Nursing Department of Beijing Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital, led a team composed of head nurses and nursing backbone from nursing department, respiratory medicine department, cardiovascular medicine department, encephalopathy department, acupuncture department and oncology department to Longevity Sunshine Apartment for the Elderly with the theme of "Angels around, Healthy Every Day" to love, respect and help the elderly.　　

    During the activity, nurses measured blood pressure on site for the elderly, explained the prevention of constipation and self-care, led the elderly to do ten-finger pressure-lowering exercises together, and explained in detail the problems raised by the elderly and attendants, so as to make TCM nursing truly serve the people. Then the nurses came to the bedridden elderly, carefully inspected the skin condition of the bedridden elderly, demonstrated the correct turning over and buckling techniques for the attendants, and gave patient guidance to the limb function exercise and rehabilitation.

　　　At the end of the activity, the nurses and the elderly were reluctant to say goodbye, and their feelings were overwhelming. Through angels' easy-to-understand way of propaganda, intimate content of propaganda, patient and meticulous warm service, the elderly showed a satisfied smile, not only demonstrating the spiritual style and the professional style of the nursing team in our hospital, but also making the elderly feel the warmth of families.
