Safety of clinical trials is the most important in the development of trials. In order to ensure the safety of the subjects in the clinical trials, on the afternoon of April 16, the phase I clinical district of Fangshan Hospital, Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, in conjunction with the Emergency Department, organized an "Emergency Exercise for the Rescue and Transfer of Acute Allergic Shock".
Medical Department, Nursing Department, Anesthesiology Department and related functional departments participated in the drill. Following the announcement by the head of the emergency command team of the drill, all departments were in place: a subject in phase I clinical district had a sudden allergic reaction, and the rescuers immediately exercised according to the SOP process of the emergency plan for anaphylactic shock. First, the subject was transferred from the blood collection room to the rescue room, and then the anti-allergic drugs were given immediately, as well as ECG monitoring, oxygen inhalation and the establishment of the second intravenous pathway.
The division of labor and cooperation of various processes were busy but not disorderly, and the sudden situation did not affect the process of intensive blood collection. After 10 minutes, the symptoms of acute anaphylactic shock were effectively controlled, the symptoms were alleviated and the vital signs returned to normal.
Emergency department started the green channel after receiving, arrived at the clinical area in 5 minutes, and transfered the subject to the emergency department in 15 minutes from receiving. The subject had sudden respiratory and cardiac arrest in the emergency. They are immediately given tracheal intubation, cardiopulmonary resuscitation and ventilator connection. After active and effective treatment, the subject turned to safety. This exercise was successful.
