In order to further improve the quality of medical services in the whole district and accurately grasp the direction of the reform and development of medical and health undertakings, always regard serving patients and upgrading skills as the basic standards and direction of efforts, the Party Committee of Changping District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has been committed to strengthening personnel training, enhancing medical capacity and improving service quality. On May 8, 30 pharmacists from the district hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, District hospital, maternal and child health center, grass-roots community service centers and private hospitals came to the Ming Tombs Yaowang Valley to identify medicinal plants, integrate theory with practice, improve academic level and professional ability, and strive to grow into leaders and backbone of various positions.

　　Sun Simiao, a great doctor in the Tang Dynasty, put forward in his medical work Qianjin Yifang: "Deep in the mountains and forests, there is a good mirror." Dioscorea nipponica makino and menispermum dauricum DC in Yaowang Valley climb all over the rocks, while sealwort and Leonurus stand proudly, peony and paeonia flower bloom afar, herba artemisiae capillariae and plantain can be seen everywhere on the ground. Under the leadership of Director Liu Jianhua and Professor Liu Tong of TCM Hospital, pharmacists identified the original plant together, touched the diametral branch nodular of polygonatum odoratum, felt the refreshing of mint, recalled its family and efficacy, and discussed the main characteristics of character identification. More than 20 kinds of medicinal plants, such as paeonia lactiflora, peony, leonurus, sealwort, polygonatum odoratum, bean root, polygonum multiflorum, angelica sinensis and so on, were studied in terms of their origin, growth characteristics and harvesting, and the confusing plants were observed comparatively, which made the identification points prominent and memorable. Through on-the-spot learning activities, the identification degree of the original plant was improved, the theoretical knowledge was consolidated, and the sensitivity of the quality identification of Chinese herbal pieces was enhanced.
