On May 22nd, the 2nd Kuanjie Andrology Forum-Dongcheng District Doctor Liu Dianchi Academic Exchange mainly hosted by Dept of Andrology of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine was held in Prime Hotel in Beijing. Experts from different hospitals of TCM, western medicine and the two combinations in Beijing, Tianjin and Hebei attended the meeting.

　　Under theme of TCM andrology diagnosis and treatment, the conference discussed, in the context of the current situation, the combination methods of TCM and western medicine in treating andrology diseases. Based on status quo, Professor He Zhanju discussed the methods of traditional Chinese and western medicine combined in andrology, and put forward his own views on TCM treatment of andrology from the perspective of western medicine. Professor Deng Shumin introduced the diagnosis and treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in detail, pointing out a new direction for the treatment of BPH in TCM. Professor Wang Fu introduced the experience in male infertility treatment in Xiyuan Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences with the theme of "regulating, trating and nourishing" -- how to play a "trilogy" of male infertility treatment. On the basis of experimental investigation, Pofessor Wang Hai elaborated the etiology of male infertility of second child in many aspects. Professor Geng Qiang introduced the etiology, pathological factors and research status of testicular microlithiasis. Professor Zhao Zhiying summarized Professor Liu Dianchi's thoughts on TCM based on his years of experience in following senior teachers, reading classics and conducting practices. Professor Chang Hubiao introduced the experience of Ji Liangchen, a famous professor of TCM in Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to many years of clinical experience, Professor Liu Dianchi taught how to differentiate and treat male infertility.

　　From basic theory to clinical practice, from young famous doctors to senior doctors, this conference coveredthe treatment experience of TCM, surgical treatment, experimental research, case sharing and other aspects of traditional Chinese and western male  urology, promoting the inheritance and talent cultivation and thoretical and clinical level of andrology doctors. It is hoped that by holding this forum, the cooperation platform of andrology in Kuanjie will be established,  the cause of andrology of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine will be built and developed in Beijing and its surroundings, and the diagnosis and treatment level of andrology of traditional Chinese and western medicine will be effectively improved.
