Medical station in Expo Park of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine Carried out Special Services
    In response to the coming summer peak and the continuous hot weather since the beginning of summer, the Medical Station of the World Exposition Park of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine has launched TCM characteristic services to ensure the safety of visitors to the expo.
    In response to the rapid growth of Dragon Boat Festival holiday tourists, the Medical Station of the World Exposition Park of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine added the Acupuncturist Department and the orthopedic doctors to provide the TCM special services for the trauma tourists during the Dragon Boat Festival holiday by summarizing and analyzing the disease characteristics of the patients who were treated and pre-evaluating the temperature increase for one month. At 10 am on June 7th, a female volunteer with a sprained ankle was helped by her colleagues to the site for treatment. Orthopedics doctor Du Jiang checked her body and found that the patient had normal skin, light swelling on back of left ankle, local tenderness, and diagnosed as the left ankle sprain talofibular ligament injury. After giving "shake, pull, stamp" technique of TCM treatment, the patient basically felt no pain any more. She thanked Doctor Du Jiang repeatedly. Since the diagnosis and treatment process was less than 5 minutes, "I can't believe she limped so quickly,” accompanied colleagues said  repeatedly, “Chinese medicine is amazing!”
   "Can you bring me one of your sunproof drinks to go with me and drink on the way?” In addition to adding Huoxiang Zhengqi and diarrhea medicines, the medical station also made "loving” Chinese medicine heatstroke drink to in order to prevent heatstroke and diarrhea and ensure the safety of tourists during tourists' visit to the park.
During the Dragon Boat Festival, a total of 113 people were treated at our hospital's Medical Station, and 19 copies of TCM were distributed, among which 7 were treated with TCM special treatments.
