Changping District Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Efforts to Promote Appropriate Technology of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Cultivate Grassroots Talents of Traditional Chinese Medicine

　　In order to further implement the "13th Five-Year Plan" for the promotion of basic-level Chinese medicine service capabilities in Beijing, to continuously promote basic-level and technological communities under key disciplines, to enhance the service capabilities of Chinese medicine, and topromote the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine technology, recently, the first theoretical course training of the "1+1+2" project for the cultivation of suitable technical talents of Chinese medicine in Changping District, hosted by the Beijing Institute of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine and Western Medicine and Changping District Health Committee, was successfully held in the Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese Medicine of Changping District. A total of 124 basic-level doctors from 17 community health service centers in the region participated in the training.

　　This training covers a variety of effective appropriate technologies of traditional Chinese medicine such as auricular point manipulation, palace bone setting manipulation, Herschel fire needle, medicine stick therapy, etc. In particular, theoretical explanations are made on 8 appropriate technologies in Beijing brand traditional Chinese medicine technology and health preservingtechniques that are well-based, effective, easy to popularize and suitable for grassroots development.

　　Through days of systematic training, the medical staff of the basic community health service center master the theoretical basis of the appropriate technical operation of traditional Chinese medicine and lay a solid foundation for the next clinical practice.
