On June 14, 2019, the "Chinese and Western Medicine Treatment Course for Diabetic Retinopathy" was successfully held in Daxing District Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine. The course is presided over by Director Ma Xingxiang of Ophthalmology Department and attended by personnel from Nanyuan Hospital of Fengtai District, Beijing Aerospace General Hospital, Jiugong Hospital, Yinghai Hospital, Yizhuang Hospital and relevant departments of our hospital.

　　The course specially invites Jie Chuanhong, the Director of Diabetes Department of Ophthalmology Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Deputy Director Yan Jing to give lectures. Two experts exchange and share the contents of early diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, fundus laser and surgical treatment of diabetic retinopathy. Director Ma Xingxiang and Chief Physician Zhao Dawei of Ophthalmology also explain in detail the traditional Chinese medicine treatment standard of diabetic retinopathy and the importance of

　　fundus fluorescein angiography in diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy.

　　The students are enthusiastic and study the records carefully. The exchange and interaction with each other and the patient answers of experts have greatly benefited everyone.

　　The holding of this course will not only further enhance people's understanding of diabetic retinopathy, but also enhance the medical staff's attention to the diagnosis and treatment of diabetic retinopathy.
