On July 24, Guang'anmen Hospital South Area arranged the experts from encephalopathy, cardiovascular, spleen and stomach, orthopedics, surgery, sleep, anorectal and endocrinology departments to go to Daxing Fire Brigade, providing the volunteer medical service and health consultation service for the fire fighters on duty in such hot weather.
At the site of volunteer medical service, the experts carefully asked the soldiers for their symptoms and felt their pulses. At the same time, the experts also answered the health questions raised by the soldiers, patiently explained the health-preserving knowledge, and advised them to improve physical health by conducting scientific and reasonable exercise and relaxing themselves. The soldiers also actively asked relevant questions to have timely understanding of their health status.
The volunteer medical service activity was welcomed and praised by the officers and soldiers of the Brigade. They expressed that the volunteer medical service by the medical experts not only solved the problem of finding no time to see a doctor due to their busy work, but also helped them to understand their health status, to ease their psychological pressure, and to learn the effective ways of preventing and reducing the occurrence of diseases. Furthermore, this will play a big role in helping them better perform their work in the future.
