The cool breeze of autumn refreshes people, making the landscape look more beautiful; a rich perfume of osmanthus blossoms was wafted to us, celebrating the birth of the motherland. On the afternoon of September 12, Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine held a large-scale art performance "My Motherland" at the hospital hall in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, where Gu Shouhe Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Fengtai District Health Committee, Wang Hongbin Deputy Director of Changxindian sub-district office, Wang Benxiang Deputy Head of the comprehensive office of the sub-district, the leadership team of the hospital, and more than 500 employees from clinical, administrative, and logistics departments of the hospital were present to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, wishing the motherland prosperous and powerful.
In his speech, Gu Shouhe pointed out that over the past 70 years, the great motherland has undergone earth-shaking changes, with new creations found everywhere. The magnificent historical process of the new China is a great process in which the Communist Party of China has led the people of all nationalities to unite and struggle, thus making the country experience earth-shaking changes, and the people's living standards continuously improved. The hope is that all medical staff of Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine will consciously shoulder the glorious mission entrusted by the new era, take Xi Jinping’s thought on the socialism with Chinese characteristics for the new era as a guide, earnestly practice the principle of "Never Forgetting the Initial Intention and Keeping the Mission in Mind" and make more the greater contribution to a healthy China by taking more confidence and high-spirited spirit, with a better image, a more enthusiasm and a more pragmatic style, and making more efforts for innovative work.
The art performance was carried out by more than 200 people from the hospital’s functional departments, external department, the first surgery department, the second surgery department, the neurosurgery department, the orthopedics department, the obstetrics and gynecology department, the digestive (endocrine) department, the respiratory and critical care medicine department, the acupuncture and moxibustion department, the preventive disease treatment department, the rehabilitation department. The E.N.T department, the stomatology department, the ophthalmology department, the dermatology department, the emergency department, the hand numbness department, the intensive care medicine department, the physical examination center, the ultrasound department, the functional department, and the 2016 freshman representatives.
It is reported that the art performance consists of 19 programs, including songs and dances, poetry readings, operas and stage plays. The programs are based on patriotism, and the programming is full of touching elements, which fully demonstrates the spirit and patriotism of the staff of Beijing Fengtai Hospital of Integrated Chinese and Western Medicine, and pays a tribute to the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China.
