Xiyuan Hospital Launched the 10th Session of Herbal Paste Health-preserving Culture Festival
The autumn wind is blowing once again. It’s time for Xiyuan Herbal Paste Festival. On the morning of October 18th, the launching ceremony of the 10th Herbal Paste Health-preserving Culture Festival of Xiyuan Hospital was held at the first floor lobby of the outpatient building. This also meant that the wintertime herbal paste health-preserving service of Xiyuan Hospital was officially started.
The launching ceremony was hosted by Wen Yandong Secretary of the Discipline Inspection Commission of the hospital, where Zhang Yunling Executive Vice President of the hospital, Xu Fengqin Vice President, Li Qiuyan Vice President of the hospital, herbal paste experts and patient representatives were present.
With a view to fully demonstrating unique charm of TCM health care, disease prevention and treatment, spreading the knowledge of TCM health preservation and wintertime paste nourishing, and satisfying the health needs of the masses, the Festival has also provided free large-scale TCM herbal paste health-preserving consultation services, and the famous paste experts of Xiyuan Hospital were specially-invited to make tailor-made TCM paste for the general public by feeling their pulses, asking symptoms and making dialectical treatment. At the same time, the Festival also offered a series of activities such as the valuable herb appreciation area, TCM characteristic service (acupoint bearn-pressing, scraping, cupping and others) experience area, eight-trigrams boxing health exercise performance, Guzheng and Erhu folk music performance, and TCM lantern riddles, which attracted residents to actively participate in, thus serving more than 500 people. This Herbal Paste Health-preserving Culture Festival aims to spread the traditional TCM culture, improve the disease-preventing awareness and ability of the masses, and help the general public to fully understand the TCM specialty cream with wintertime nourishing and conditioning effect.
