Xuanwu TCM Hospital Continued to Conduct the Legal Publicity and Education Activities Themed with "Singing the National Anthem, Protecting the National Flag, and Respecting for the National Emblem"
According to the relevant notice requirements of Beijing Municipal Government, since September, Xuanwu TCM Hospital has continued to conduct a series of legal publicity and education activities themed with "Singing the National Anthem, Protecting the National Flag, and Respecting for the National Emblem".
On the afternoon of October 17, at the multi-functional hall of the hospital, Song Rufen, a special scald patient in the surgical ward--the daughter of Song Shuxin, the first five-star red flag maker in China, gave a keynote speech on "The National Flag in My Heart" to all the party members, activists and some middle-level cadres of the hospital. With the narration of Song, they relived the precious memory, understood the hard-working process of making the national flag, recalled the exciting scene of the five-star red flag flying high during the founding ceremony, and learned more about the provisions of raising the national flag in the "Law on National Flag". During the period, several times we were moved to tears by Song’s passionate speech, and burst into applause!
Subsequently, Zhao Libo Secretary of the Disciplinary Committee of the Hospital, presented to Song the Centennial Memorial Cup honoring the 100th anniversary of the founding of Xuanwu TCM Hospital as souvenir. The speech ended with everyone singing the song of "My People and My Motherland". Through the recent legal popularization activities, the cadres and staff of the whole hospital have gradually enhanced their ideological understanding of the national anthem, the national flag and the national emblem serving as the symbol and mark of the country, and cultivated their awareness of respecting for and safeguarding the dignity of the national anthem, the national flag and the national emblem, so that the law can be deeply implanted into the hearts of each medical worker. When offering medical services in the future, we will continue to uphold the legal norms and embrace the profession creed of not forgetting the initial intention as a doctor and protecting the health of the masses!
