Recently, Gong Yanbing Vice President of Dongzhimen Hospital led  Xue Pu Head of the External Liaison Division of Dongzhimen Hospital, and Ma Wei a professor of hematology & oncology, to attend the Symposium on the TCM Industry Development of Qitaihe City held in Harbin. At the same time, Professor Shi Yi, an expert in the herbal paste, was arranged to visit Qitaihe TCM Hospital for “the First Herbal Paste Festival of Qitaihe City”.

　　At the Symposium on the TCM Industry Development of Qitaihe City held in Harbin, Gong Yanbing put forward some constructive suggestions on the “Plan for the Traditional Chinese Medicine Industry Development of Qitaihe City” under discussion. She said that Qitaihe Municipal Government attaches great importance to the TCM development, at which she is very gratified as a TCM practitioner. She expressed her thanks to the leadership of the Municipal Party Committee. She was full of confidence in the future development of the TCM industry, and also looked forward to a greater breakthrough in the early development of Qitaihe TCM industry. In addition, she pointed out that the era of aging is coming, and “health-preserving care” and “health care for the elderly” should also be taken into account in the “Development Plan”, which lays a preliminary foundation for the development of the TCM industry in Qitaihe City, the establishment of a “northern center of TCM”, and the transformation & development of Qitaihe City. 

　　At the symposium, in the presence of Dong Wenqin Deputy Mayor of Qitaihe City and the participants, Gong Yanbing signed the Cooperation Agreement on the Comprehensive TCM Treatment of Tumors with Yantai Hongtu President of Qitaihe TCM Hospital. 

　　During the trip to Heilongjiang, Professor Ma Wei also participated in the voluntary medical service activities of “the First Heilongjiang TCM Industry Expo 2019” and Professor Shi Yi was present at the site of the voluntary medical service activities of “the First Qitaihe Herbal Paste Festival”.
