International friends visited Beijing Huairou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine
On November 6, 2019, 29 students of "2019 training course on traditional medical care technologies for developing countries" with strong interest in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) from all over the world came to Beijing Huairou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine for a visit. Members of the delegation included doctors, officials, nurses and experts from 11 countries including Pakistan, Albania, Ethiopia, Vanuatu, Nepal, Panama, Cambodia, Laos, Dominica, North Korea and Suriname.
Executive president Wang Zhenyu and vice president Xu Jia warmly received the international friends. First, the president introduced the basic situation of the hospital. Then, director Song Chong led the delegation to visit the TCM decoction room, outpatient pharmacy, acupuncture and moxibustion department, rehabilitation department and culture corridor of the hospital. International friends were amazed by acupuncture and moxibustion, cupping and other unique technologies of traditional Chinese medicine.
This visit is not only a recognition of the leapfrog development of the hospital in recent years, but also an inheritance of traditional Chinese medicine culture.The hospital will continue to make efforts to spread Chinese medicine culture widely, explore characteristic therapies of Chinese medicine and let more people perceive the simpleness, convenience and profoundness of TCM. We will stand firmly in Huairou, aim at the whole country and walk toward the world, making the flower of Chinese medicine blossom all over the world.
