Free medical treatment benefits people on World Diabetes Day
On November 14, 2019, the 13th World Diabetes Day, Beijing Hepingli Hospital launched a free medical treatment activity with the theme of "preventing and controlling diabetes to protect your family".
In the outpatient hall of the hospital, the endocrinology department carried out the publicity and free medical treatment activity of "obesity and diabetes,the treatment of integrated Chinese and western medicine for diabetes". The medical staff provided free consultation and health services for patients such as measuring blood glucose, blood pressure, height, weight and BMI. They taught patients knowledge about obesity and diabetes, distributed diabetes brochures and lipid-reducing tea of TCM. The medical personnel and patients communicated frequently with each other, and the activity is well received by the patients.
