Miyun District Hospital of TCM Specially Invited the Medical Expert from Beijing Union Medical College Hospital to Explain Difficult and Complicated Cases, thus Enhancing its Doctors’ capacity of Treating Critical Diseases
In late September, in order to improve its doctors' ability to treat critically ill patients and enhance their understanding of the importance of the multidisciplinary cooperation, Miyun District Hospital of TCM specially invited Dr. Zhang Hong Deputy Chief Physician from Peking Union Medical College Hospital to explain the difficult and complicated cases and comment on the typical disease cases. The typical case-sharing seminar was attended by more than 20 doctors of the six major wards, outpatient service, emergency service and related divisions.
The typical case-sharing seminar was chaired by Sang Junfu Medical Director of the Hospital, where typical disease cases were provided by Dang Binwen from Tiantan Hospital, Wang Tianhao from 309 Hospital, Liu Xuemei from Shijingshan Hospital and Wang Jiajia from the hospital geriatrics division, thus laying a good foundation for the smooth progress of the seminar.
The seminar was full of the strong academic atmosphere, where Zhang Hong made a systematic analysis of the case reports, conducted in-depth discussions of their diagnosis and identifying diagnosis from his own professional point of view, and also shared the experience and feelings with all the participants. Then, Sang Junfu said that the seminar has built a platform for doctors to make exercise and display, and increased the academic exchanges between various hospitals and different departments while improving the hospital doctors’ capabilities of clinical diagnosis and treatment, thus playing a good role in protecting the medical security and enhancing the overall medical service capacity of all the doctors in the hospital. In view of this, the hospital will also organize more similar seminars to share more cases and medical experience, provide more learning opportunities for its doctors, expand their knowledge and raise their capability.
