On the morning of December 19, a delegation led by Yang Lixin, deputy director of the Healthcare Committee of Xicheng District, together with a total of 7 leaders and department heads from the Beijing Mentougou District Hospital visited Beijing Fengsheng Special Hospital. The two hospitals conducted the experience sharing and in-depth discussions on the building and development of orthopedics disciplines, and reached a preliminary intention of mutual assistance and cooperation in further advancing the technological innovation and promoting the inheritance of orthopedics.

　　The two hospitals shared experience on key issues of the key orthopedics discipline such as the operation and management model, the experience transmission of famous and old traditional Chinese medicine experts and the implementation and development of traditional Chinese medicine characteristics. And the delegation has visited the outpatient department, emergency department, comprehensive treatment area and the ward. Orthopedics discipline is the dominant discipline of Beijing Mentougou District Hospital and Beijing Fengsheng Special Hospital with their distinct characteristics. Beijing Mentougou District Hospital has a long history of the orthopedic school of the west Beijing, while the orthopedics of Beijing Fengsheng Special Hospital adheres to the orthopedic approach of the Yanjing School and the muscle injury theory of the orthopedic school of the Qing Dynasty. The two hospitals have their own characteristics in the development of orthopedics, but both have taken their own responsibilities in adhering to the path of traditional Chinese medicine and adhering to the heritage and development of traditional Chinese medicine. After the exchanges and field visits, the two hospitals stated that in the future work, they would try their best to promote the exchange of talents in orthopedics, co-organize an orthopedics forums, and jointly promote the disciplinary construction through flexible and diverse academic exchanges, professional guidance, and personnel training.

　　Under the in-depth study and implementation of the new ideas, new judgments and new requirements of General Secretary Xi Jinping for the development of traditional Chinese medicine, Beijing Fengsheng Special Hospital will also actively explore and promote the construction path of orthopedics of traditional Chinese medicine to better serve the patients.
