In order to further improve the professionalism of the nursing staff and the level of nursing services, the Nursing Department of Beijing Hospital of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine held four batches of year-end theoretical assessment for the nursing staff in the headquarters of the hospital on December 19th and 20th. The assessment was divided according to departments and there were A and B types of examination papers. The examination content covered the knowlege in Nurses Regulations, Traditional Chinese Medicine Nursing Work Guide, Nurses Must Read, Questions and Answers for Nursing Knowlege and core displines. 227 nursing staff participated in the assessment.
The year-end theoretical assessment is one of the "three bases and three strict" assessments of nursing staff in the hospital, and is a self-examination of the nursing knowledge. The assessment results will be included in the personal professional file as one of the reference for the evaluation and professional assessment.
The assessment has guided the nursing staff in the hospital to pay attention to the basic knowledge learning, to find out the shortcomings in time and to summarize the experience. It has mobilized their enthusiasm for learning, and laid a solid foundation for further consolidating the quality of basic care and ensuring the safety of the patients.
