To carry forward the traditional culture, inherit the Chinese medicine, give play to the unique advantages of prevention and treatment of traditional Chinese medicine, consolidate TCM theory of medical workers, improve service ability of traditional Chinese medicine, on the afternoon of May 15, Beijing Yanqing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine held TCM classics reading competition themed by "promote the spirit of medical sincerity and strive to be anti-epidemic pioneers". A total of 13 young physicians participated in the competition.

　　During the competition, the contestants excerpted the content from "Huangdi's Classic", "Great Medical Sincerity", "Synopsis of Prescriptions of the Golden Chamber", "The theory of the Plague" and other TCM classics, and read Chinese medicine classic chapters with wonderful music and appropriate gestures, which brought the audience rich cultural connotation of Chinese medicine, introduced the extensive aspects of Chinese medicine in the treatment of disease, plague and health maintenance.

　　After fierce competition, Chang Aijuan, a physician of Cardiovascular Department, won the first prize with excellent performance. Li Xueying, a physician of Cardiovascular Department and Dong Ligang, a physician of Digestive Oncology Department, won the second prize respectively. Wu Jingjing, a physician of Emergency Department, Chen lei, a chief physician of Orthopedic Department and Li Ping, a physician of Digestive Oncology Department won the third prize respectively.

She said that the excellent performance of the contestants showed the good spirit of the new generation of TCM practitioners, the attitude and responsibility of the young doctors.
