On May 22, Guang'anmen Hospital of China Academy of Chinese Medical Science held smoothly 2020 Work Meeting and the third session of 15th Workers Congress. To adapt the requirements of the epidemic prevention and control, the meeting was held in the form of live broadcast for the first time with one main venue and two sub-venues. More than 1000 hospital staff including hospital leaders, heads of functional department, department directors, head nurses, branch secretaries, staff representatives and representatives of southern district attended the meeting online and offline at the same time. The report reviewed the hospital's work in 2019 and identified the guidelines, overall goals and priorities for 2020. All medical staff of the hospital were required to earnestly implement the decisions and arrangements made by their superior units and the hospital party committee, coordinate the work of epidemic prevention and control and the work of resumption and production, strive to improve the level of medical treatment, scientific research, teaching and administrative management, and ensure the successful completion of the annual tasks.

The decision passed unanimously by a show of hands of worker representatives, believing that the work report comprehensively and systematically summarizes the key work of the hospital in 2019, and agreeing with the work goals and key tasks for 2020 set forth in the report.

He pointed out that the political construction of the party should be put in the first place. We should comprehensively strengthen party building of the hospital and fully implement the main responsibility of strict party governance. We should adhere to the system of director responsibility under the leadership of the party committee, give full play to the leading role of the party committee in guiding the hospital, managing the overall situation, making decisions, promoting reform and ensuring the implementation of the plan. We should improve the fighting capacity and cohesion of the leading group. We should adhere to the guidance of traditional Chinese medicine and apply the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine throughout the whole process and every link of hospital reform and development. It will also be the final year of the 13th five-year plan.
