The Center reminded citizens to keep a safe distance from each other at social events and avoid gathering in crowds. Wearing a mask in crowded and closed environments and maintaining a distance of more than one meter is recommended during conversations, when waiting for the bus and the elevator or in a queue and other similar scenarios. Maintaining good personal hygiene, washing hands frequently and especially before eating meals, after using the toilet, before and after touching eyes, mouth and nose, after leaving hospitals and when returning home were re-emphasized as important practices to continue with. Covering the mouth and nose with a tissue or elbow when coughing or sneezing, not spitting, wearing a mask on public transport, avoiding rubbing one's eyes or touching one's nose are also important measures to pay attention to. Passengers with symptoms such as fever or dry cough should not take public transport.
People should continue to wear masks in supermarkets, hotels, restaurants and other crowded places. In areas where the passenger flow is large, such as in the subway, passengers are advised to wait in an orderly manner. In small indoor areas, people should queue outside to avoid crowding. Using non-touch electronic payment method and washing hands after handling case as much as possible is encouraged. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer can be used in circumstances where hand washing is not available. Furthermore, it is recommended to take a separate meal system at home or outside. Not sharing utensils such as chopsticks and spoons for communal dishes and not dipping one's own cutlery into dishes is important. Children are encouraged to eat by themselves and it is recommended that adults do not blow on food, pre-chew, nor feed children mouth-to-mouth, or share cutlery with them. In addition, when exercising outdoors, people should choose places with few people to exercise and cooperate with relevant venues to continue to implement prevention and control measures when playing and exercising in parks, squares and other open places. Anyone experiencing a fever, dry cough and other symptoms, please stop exercising immediately. When exercising, people should wear disposable medical masks, seek medical treatment with the nearest local medical institution, and inform the medical personnel of any relevant COVID-19 contact history.
