In order to improve the professional knowledge and practical skills of the nursing staff in the hospital, and promote the development of new operation and new technology in the nursing of pressure injury, on the afternoon of May 20, the pressure injury management group of the Nursing Department of the south area of Guang'anmen Hospital organized a studio for pressure injury. Members of the pressure injury management group, nurses with less than three-year working experience, head nurses and department heads participated in the training. During the activity, the pressure injury management group explained the concept, stage and precaution of pressure injuries, vulnerable parts of the body and population, key points for recording pressure injuries.

　　Later on, the prepared radish, pigment and writing brush were brought up. With the big screen showing the case of pressure sores, the nurses were grouped according to the description of the case and marked the head and foot on the radish. They picked up the knife, spoon to create the wounds with different length, width, color, the amount of exudate according to the description. 

　　When vivid wounds appeared on the table of each group, we had a clear concept of the stages of pressure injury. Meanwhile, we practiced the techniques of dressing selection, paste, observation and removal of pressure injury, which greatly promoted the quality management of pressure injury in our hospital. 

　　Through this training which combined theories and practices, nurses had a deep cognitive of the pressure injury prevention and nursing skills, improved their handling abilities. This training was conducive to the development and implementation of clinical nursing work.
