-- Xuanwu Hospital personnel participate in voluntary blood donation

　　In order to help relieve the pressure of clinical blood use caused by covid-19 and in response to the call of voluntary unpaid blood donation, Xuanwu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine established an emergency blood donation team of more than 20 people who went to Beijing Blood Center for blood donation in batches on May 27 and June 3, totaling 2600 ml blood.

　　Blood donation work was in good order. Everyone consciously filled in the form, took physical examination and drew blood in different areas and at different time. Although masks covered the faces of the blood donors, they couldn't contain their warmth and pride. A donor said with emotion: "It was a pity that I couldn't fight in the front line although I submitted the letter of request to fight against the epidemic at the beginning of covid-19 containment. After learning that the hospital held a blood donation activity, I applied for it at once, hoping to contribute to the prevention and control of the epidemic in this way."
