An Ping, a nurse from the Huairou Hospital, who happened to be passing by, walked instinctively forward through the onlookers and found that the lady was unconscious, pale and sweating. Based on years of nursing experience, she preliminarily concluded that the lady might have fainted due to the hot weather or possibly suffered a heart attack. With the help of other passersby, An Ping gave a fast relief pill to the old lady and asked onlookers to dial 120 for emergency ambulance assistance. Meanwhile, she kneeled on the ground to press the lady's philtrum, Hegu(the place where the thumb and forefinger connect), Neiguan(locates at three horizontal fingers above the wrist) and other TCM emergency acupuncture points.
