On June 7-8, 2020, with two consecutive days of academic exchanges and 140,000 online audience, the 2nd Beijing Fangshan Spleen and Stomach Disease Conference and the Summit Forum on Prevention and Treatment of Gastrointestinal Mucosal Diseases came to a successful conclusion.
At the time of Grain in Ear (refers when the grains are mature), a harvest season, and also the 2nd anniversary for our hospital becoming the 6th clinical medical college of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, the spleen and stomach disease team of Fangshan Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, jointly with Beijing Stomatology Hospital of Capital Medical University, professional committees of Surgery of Beijing Society of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Stomatology of Beijing Society of Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and Oral Mucosal Disease of Beijing Oral Medicine Association held the online live-broadcast conference which had an extensive participation and was highly recognized by all the experts and colleagues.
Themed with "pre-cancer awareness, disease prevention, oral protection and spleen-stomach priority", including youth forum, oral mucosal health, precancerous lesions of digestive tract, Chinese and western medicine dialogue, pancreatic diseases and other academic sections, the conference brought top academic forces together to carry out all-round and multi-angle academic exchanges and discussions from oral mucosal lesions to gastrointestinal mucosal lesions and pancreatic lesions, from basic to clinical and vice versa.
Pei Xiaohua, the director of Fangshan Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Wang Hui, the vice director, Zhang Hong, the vice director, Cheng Hongjie, the director of the Department of Spleen and Stomach Diseases, served as conference chairmen. The conference also invited Ding Xia, the professor of Beijing University of Chinese medicine, Xia Qing, the professor of Huaxi Hospital of Sichuan University, Chen Qianming, the professor of Stomatology Hospital of Zhejiang University, Dong Zongqing, the professor of Henai University of Chinese Medicine, Sun Zheng, the president of Beijing Dental Association, Wu Yongdong, the professor of Beijing Friendship Hospital of Capital Medical University, Guan Xiaobing, the professor of Beijing Stomatology Hospital of Capital Medical University, Liu Yang, the associate professor of Stomatology Hospital of Peking University, Wang Hui, the associate professor of Fangshan Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine, Cui Li, the professor of Beijing Yanhua Hospital, Zhang Naiwei, the associate chief physician, Doctor Jia Boyi and many other famous domestic experts and young scholars. They shared oral mucosal lesions, digestive tract precancerous lesions, pancreatic diseases and other hot topics.
1. Youth BBS section
Vice President Wang Hui, Associate Professor Liu Yang, Associate Chief Physician Zhang Naiwei, Doctor Jia Boyi shared with the audience the types of common precancerous lesions from the oral cavity to the gastrointestinal tract, the prediction of canceration potential and the treatment of common gastrointestinal mucosal lesions with Traditional Chinese medicine, meanwhile, systematically introduced the methods of precancerous examination and clinical application for potential malignant lesions in the oral cavity.
2. Oral and digestive mucosa section
Professor Sun Zheng, Professor Guan Xiaobing and Professor Chen Qianming shared with the audience the topics related to oral health and systemic health, the application prospect of traditional Chinese medicine in oral mucosal precancerous lesions, and the clinical application and mechanism of photodynamic therapy. Professor Ding Xia and Professor Wu Yongdong respectively gave excellent reports on the mechanism of inflammatory cancer transformation of chronic gastritis and its TCM intervention as well as the identification of colorectal early cancer and precancerous lesions.
3. Pancreatic disease section
Professor Xia Qing and Professor Dang Zhongqin shared the clinical practice of the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of severe pancreatitis and the experience of the multi-channel treatment of acute pancreatitis by traditional Chinese medicine, which opened up a new perspective for the treatment of acute pancreatitis by traditional Chinese medicine. The content on the meeting was rich and detailed, and the audience left enthusiastic comments for discussion.
It is the first time to use the live broadcasting room of our hospital. Through the online platform, it was more convenient for participants to study and better served colleagues and the public in the industry. In the future, the team will continue to set up a series of special topics such as medical summit forum and science popularization sharing. The audience can take part in online and enjoy it.
