　　On May 22, the 2020 working meeting of the Guang'anmen Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences and the Third Session of the Fifth Congress of Employees were successfully held. In order to adapt to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, this conference set up a main venue and two branch venues, which were held for the first time by webcast. A total of 1000 people attended the meeting online and off the line including the leaders of our hospital, heads of functional departments, directors of departments, head nurses, branch secretaries, staff representatives and representatives of south district. Cha Dezhong, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, came to the meeting to guide the work. The meeting was chaired by Wang Xiaopin, the secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital.

　　The meeting kicked off in the solemn national anthem. Hu Yuanhui, the vice president of our hospital, gave a work report entitled "Inheriting the essence, abiding by justice and innovation, striving to write a new chapter of a highly-developed hospital".

　　The report reviewed the work of the hospital in 2019, clarified the guiding ideology, overall goals and key tasks for 2020, and required the staff of the hospital to seriously implement the decision-making and deployment of each higher-level unit and the hospital party committee, make overall plans on epidemic prevention and control, resume work and production, and improve of the level of medical care, scientific research, teaching and administrative management to ensure the successful completion of the annual work tasks.

　　After the staff representatives raised their hands to vote, the "Guang'anmen Hospital's the 3rd Session of the Five Staff Representative Conference Resolution on the Approval of the Work Report of Vice President Hu Yuanhui (Draft)" was unanimously approved. The resolution says the work report has comprehensively and systematically summarized the key work done by our institute in 2019, and agrees to the 2020 work goals and key tasks set out in the report.

　　Wang Xiaopin, the secretary of the Party Committee of our hospital, fully affirmed the achievements of the previous leadership team leading the staff of the hospital, and thanked the cadres and employees for their hard work and bravery in the battle against the Covid-19!

　　She called for upholding and strengthening the overall leadership of the party and being practical and meticulous, intensifying its responsibility and emphasizing party building and guidance; insisting on promoting development through party construction and making sure that all goals and tasks are successfully achieved; effectively strengthening personnel training and team building, and building Guang'anmen Hospital into a national team of Chinese medicine with outstanding advantages, leading services, scientific management, contented patients, and happy employees.

　　Zha Dezhong, the secretary of the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, congratulated our hospital on the excellent results achieved in the past year, fully affirmed the pragmatic style of the new leadership team, and highly commended our hospital's outstanding performance in combating the Covid-19.

　　He pointed out that we must insist on putting the party's political construction in the first place, comprehensively strengthen the hospital's party construction, and fully implement the responsibilities of strict governance of the party's main body; we must adhere to the president's responsibility system under the leadership of the party committee, give full play to the leadership of the hospital's party committee in controlling the direction, managing the overall situation , making decisions, promoting reforms, ensuring the implementation of all policies, and enhancing the rallying power and combating capability of the leadership team; we must adhere to the orientation of traditional Chinese medicine, and bring the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine into the entire process and links of the hospital's reform and development; we must adhere to the core competitiveness of traditional Chinese medicine，focus on building a bigger and stronger China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, profoundly grasp the mission and vision of the hospital, focus on the long-term development, demonstration and leadership, seize opportunities and seek development.

　　2020 is the year of a decisive victory to build a well-off society in an all-round way and a decisive battle against poverty. It is also the year when the 13th Five-Year Plan is at an end. Under the leadership of the Party Group of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Party Committee of the Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, our hospital will focus on implementing the spirit of the National Congress of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the "Opinions of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on Promoting the Inheritance and Development of Traditional Chinese Medicine", aiming to create a bigger and stronger  Chinese Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences.
