Samples of high-frequency contact areas such as meat chopping tables, floor drains, meat washing pools, pre-inspection triage desktops, self-service machines and door handles were mainly collected in the canteen.
Since the outbreak of the new situation, the Hospital Infection-Control Dept of Guangwai Hospital has been continuously strengthening the epidemic prevention and control work. On June 14, Xicheng District resumed the second-level response and prevention measures. Guangwai Hospital responded positively to the 16 measures for the prevention and control of Covid-19 in Beijing hospitals, did a good job of epidemic prevention and control, and strictly implemented the national and Beijing medical personnel protection guidelines.
First of all, the Hospital Infection-Control Dept should strengthen the safety consciousness of medical personnel, emphasize the responsibility of the department director and the head nurse, and require everyone to be vigilant; further strengthen the safety training of medical personnel, and implement grid training in all departments to ensure that everyone knows the knowledge of epidemic prevention and control; formulate and issue normative documents, implement main responsibilities, and refine prevention and control measures and work procedures; strengthen epidemic prevention and control, carry out scientific elimination, epidemic prevention and control to achieve full coverage without dead corner; at the same time, improve medical personnel's awareness of personal safety protection. Medical personnel in different areas should carry out personal protection according to requirements, so as to protect their own safety while carrying out prevention and control work.
The head of the Hospital Infection-Control Dept of Guangwai Hospital said that in order to normalize the epidemic prevention and control work, we must strengthen supervision and management and strictly implement the prevention and control system. In addition to supervising and guiding the proper wearing of protective equipment, supervision should be intensified on the implementation of hand hygiene compliance of medical personnel to ensure safety and avoid cross-infection in the hospital.
At the same time, each clinic should strictly implement one patient and one clinic room, timely evacuate patients in the waiting room and outpatient hall; the inpatient department should strictly control the number and body temperature of escorts. Patients and escorts should wear masks. The hospital should implement the measures of environmental cleaning, disinfection and standardized treatment of medical waste in the ward; should make statistics, screening and tracing on the health condition of the medical staff and the fever of the inpatients in the ward. Those who need to be temporarily quarantined should be guided by appropriate disinfection and isolation measures in a timely manner to achieve the goal of zero Covid-19 infection in hospital.
In addition, in order to effectively do the hospital disinfection work, hospital leaders urgently coordinated the male staff under 40 to undertake the hospital mobile disinfection work. The personnel transferred should go deep into all departments of the hospital and carry out a comprehensive disinfection for the ward, corridor, door handle, the ground and other positions in the ward to ensure no oversight, no dead corner, trying their best to protect the safety of medical staff and patients.
