In June, the weather warmed up, and the resumption of work and production across the country proceeded in an orderly manner. At the same time, the epidemic started again in Beijing, putting the city into a state of war. The sudden outbreak has broken the rhythm of people's life, but it has not shaken the medical staff's faith in defeating the epidemic. No matter how hot or cold the weather is, there are always some people who will stand forward and face it bravely.
Since the discovery of the confirmed cases, Beijing has successfully identified the risk points of the epidemic in the shortest time and contained the spread of the epidemic at its source. Fangshan Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine sent another 200 people as nucleic acid testing team. After positive register and selection in the hospital, on behalf of Yuehua branch of Fangshan Hospital, Chief Physicians Yang Yuguang, Hu Zongying and Duan Honglei, Nurses Zhang Dandan and Yang Wenjing consisted a pioneer team and joined the nucleic acid testing team of more than 200,000 people in various communities, commercial districts and administrative villages in Changyang Town.
On June 21st and 22nd, despite being ready to go to frontline, there was still a bit of fear in the face of the virus. Arriving at the testing point of Daning School, the normally noisy in the changing room disappeared. All staff were quietly wearing protective clothing, checking each other for possible omissions. Protective clothing, isolated clothing, gloves, shoe covers, goggles and masks... Nucleic acid testing was also in good order. There are no heroes who fall from the sky, only mortals who stand up. The road of life is always full of endless unknown, and the characteristics of medical workers are facing up to challenges and not afraid of difficulties. In many cases, the courage and confidence to overcome difficulties are more important than the difficulties themselves.
In the scorching sun, the air-tight protective clothing carried the passionate hearts of the medical staff, and the indentation left by the goggles around the eyes and the sweat soaked the clothes are our best appearance, which embodied the mission of being a medical worker.
In fact, what we did was still the same work in the hospital at ordinary times, but because in such a special time, it met the most urgent needs of the country and the people, so we got this heavy trust and affirmation. No matter how the world changes, as long as we stick to our original intention, we will not care about the external evaluation of one thing at a time, so as to accumulate in adversity and rise abruptly in prosperity.
