On July 1, the "Regulations of Beijing Hospital Safety Order Management" (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") came into force, and the Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine entered into a state of emergency a week ago. In order to ensure the implementation of the "Regulations" of the hospital, hospital leaders attached great importance to the establishment of a hospital safety leading group based on the dual responsibilities of one post and the co-responsibility of the Party and government. In accordance with the requirements of the "Regulations", we should enhance our ideological understanding and fulfill the principal responsibilities, ensure that the hospital's safety work is carried out effectively and orderly, and do our best to protect the safety of hospital medical workers.
At present, the hospital carries out closed management. Security check is an important link to ensure the safety of the hospital. The hospital has established security check system, working process, emergency plan and other relevant implementation plans, and trained all security personnel on the code of conduct for security check in the early stage. On January 21, Beijing Municipal Health Commission conducted handheld security check in the hospital after training. In May, it installed security check doors at three important entrances and exits, including outpatient hall, emergency room and inpatient department. X-ray security check machines would be purchased one after another. At this critical period of epidemic prevention and control, the hospital has stepped up publicity efforts and posted warm notices on the entrances and exits to remind patients and their companions to cooperate with the security check. Security guards check health code status and body temperature as well as completing safety monitoring of patients. Throughout the recent three days, this work has been recognized and basically cooperated by the medical staff, laying a good foundation for the hospital security work.
In addition, the hospital has initially established a safety management system based on civil air defense, physical and technical defense. Fangzhuang police station has set up a team stationed in the hospital. It is equipped with full-time security guards, riot shields, riot steel and other anti-terrorism and riot instruments and equipment. Safety inspections in outpatient, inpatient departments and other areas were carried out and 24-hour watch in emergency areas and other key areas were set up. More than 900 high-definition cameras have been set in the hospital, and video surveillance in the main passageways and key areas of the hospital have been fully covered. In the emergency room, diagnosis and treatment department, doctor's office, nurse station and other key parts equipped with one-button alarm device, and safety command center and police room networking, etc.
With the in-depth implementation of the "Regulations", the hospital will continue to enrich the security forces, improve the quality of security inspection work, maintain the hospital security order and raise the level of hospital security management.
