In this year's fight against Covid-19, many well-known heroes have emerged from all walks of life who deserve our praise. At the same time, there are also many unknown people who are worthy of our tribute.
In hospitals, in addition to supporting the front line, it is also a top priority to do a good job in the prevention and control of infection in hospitals themselves. As soon as entering the hospital, the preliminary examination triage bears the first barrier of the hospital safeguard. At the early stage of the epidemic, Xuanwu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine strengthened the strength of pre-examination and triage personnel in the Outpatient Department, and supplemented them from all departments to pre-examination and triage. In April, the Pharmacy Department received an urgent task from the hospital that two young comrades were needed to support the pre-examination triage of the out-patient clinic. After receiving the task, the Pharmacy Department urgently adjusted the post, and arranged two young men, Guan Ning and Dong Yi to join the pre-examination triage team.
Since then, the two young men, dressed in thick protective suits, wore protective screen, showed up at the entrance of the Outpatient Department of the hospital on time and conscientiously guarded the first line of defense of the hospital.
Taking the temperature, asking about the epidemiological history and helping fill out a flow chart, they said the same words hundreds of times a day. When they encountered elderly patients, they carefully and patiently taught the elderly how to use mobile phone, telephone and other ways to make appointments.
As the flow of patients increased, they would go to the gate in time and organize people to queue at an orderly interval. Though the weather heated up, they wore the protective clothing all day. In order to reduce the frequency of going to the toilet, they often didn't drink for half a day.
With the overall changes in the prevention and control of the epidemic in Beijing, the principle of "no plus number" has been implemented in outpatient clinics on the basis of registered appointments. Some patients who didn't understand the prevention and control requirements, was easy to be anxious and impatient. In the face of patients' emotion, the two boys always kept calm and gave advice patiently. While actively helping patients to make an appointment for registration, they also unswervingly adhered to the principle of seeing a doctor and guarding the "door" of the hospital.
The epidemic is ruthless but the world is full of love. In the fight against the epidemic, all members of the Pharmacy Department resolutely obeyed the hospital's work arrangements, performed their duties faithfully, concentrated their efforts, and did their best to be the gatekeeper of the hospital.
