Among the 130 confirmed Covid-19 cases cured and discharged from hospital, the participation rate of Chinese medicine in treatment is 100%. The medical team of Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, as the only team of traditional Chinese medicine to support Beijing Ditan Hospital, kept summarizing and refining in clinical practice and gave full play to the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating patients.
In the clinical diagnosis and treatment of Covid-19 patients, doctors from the medical team of Ditan Hospital, Beijing Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, based on the patient's medical history, symptoms and tongue and vein syndrome differentiation, rationally selected TCM decoction and Chinese patent medicine for treatment, and the patients' symptoms such as fever, suffusion, dyspnea and diarrhea were soon significantly improved. At the same time, the team also found that some patients had the symptoms of cough sputum, insomnia, abdominal distension, loss of smell and taste, which needed a relatively long treatment cycle to alleviate. To solve this problem, the team members had a full communication during the rest time.
